Fire Compliance Training

Fire prevention and life safety are critical responsibilities within professional security operations. Working knowledge of fire code standards, as guided by NFPA 601, ensures personnel can perform their duties in compliance with applicable legal and safety requirements.

NFPA 601 – Security Services in Fire Loss Prevention establishes the standard for the selection, qualifications, training, and duties of security personnel performing fire watch, property protection, and access control. This program provides an overview of these requirements, including personnel responsibilities, operational procedures, communication and reporting expectations, and site-specific considerations, including fire watch during system impairments. The program aligns with nationally recognized standards established by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and supports compliance with 28 C.F.R. §105.22(h) and HRS §463-10.5(d)(2).
